Story
Solstitium is an epic death/doom metal band including old school heavy metal in their sound. It was initiated by comic strip author, painter/illustrator and guitar player Sébastien Grenier. The extreme and clean vocals are performed by François Blanc, also known for singing in doom metal band Angellore, prog' black metal band Abduction and heavy metal project Impending Triumph.
Formed in 2022, Solstitium announced the existence of the band in January 2024. Their first album was recorded, mixed and mastered in 2023 by Déhà at his Opus Magnum Studios in Brussels.
Morgoth was released on July, 25th 2024, and the band has released two videoclips so far.
